Arts and Craft Day Unsupervised
It is true what they say, NEVER leave a toddler unattended. Noah found a marker today, took the cap off by himself and colored on every surface he could find. When I found him he was at the top of the stairs. We got out a big pot of hot water and some cleaning wipes. I was amazed at how fast the marker came off and shocked to see how dirty my walls had gotten. After cleaning the top of the stairs and all the way down I proceeded to put the cleaning supplies away. I turned the corner and found more. I was now on a hunt to find all the places Noah colored. He managed to get every room, every door, the washer, his dresser even the diaper pail. Here I thought I was done, we hadn’t even begun. Noah now knows how to say marker and arts and craft time is now supervised.

Dare Devil
Noah has always enjoyed being on the kitchen table. When he was a baby we would even put the car seat on top of the table facing the window and he would calm down. Today he decided that he wanted to be inside and outside at the same time.
TRUCK!!!
Oh, the excitement of the garbage truck. We watch it everyday (everyday we hear it). Noah could be playing with his toys and hear the metal on metal sound and he will jump up and run towards the door screaming his version of GARBAGE TRUCK!!! We have to go on the porch and watch it in its entirety. Some of the men will even wave at Noah. I love watching Noah so much that if I hear it I will now call out “garbage truck” and take him outside to see it.
Once we were on a walk and they were picking up the trash at the houses we were walking by. We stopped and watched them work. Noah was so fascinated with everything. I have always wondered how many children have as much enthusiasm over a garbage truck as Noah

Spicy noodles
Noah loves to eat noodles. He slurps them up quickly. Today I made it a little too spicy. I have a video that I would upload if my internet was faster but here are some pictures of that day. After the meal Noah wanted me to catch him. He now says 1,2,3 to communicate that he is ready to jump. The last picture is of him saying two.

Kid Friendly Fridge Magnets
Just made these today. So much fun and SO easy. Noah loves playing with them. When he gets older I will make some with letters. But for now this will do.
I had this on hand from Noah’s birthday invitations.
The easiest way I found was to cut a section large enough to cover the wood disk. When drying place a heavy object on top to make sure you have complete adhesion. Once dry, cut off the extra paper with an exacto knife. Sand off any rough edges.
Last step attach magnets to the back and you are done.
Have fun

For the Love of Peanut Butter
Noah has found that he LOVES peanut butter. But he can’t seem to keep it in his mouth. It goes everywhere. I just cleaned PB fingerprints off of the fridge, wall, kitchen chair and dishwasher. Maybe PB should be eaten in the TUB.

I Scream, you Scream we all Scream for ICE-CREAM
Almost ready for bed. Kid fed, taken a bath, in pj’s just enough time for me to eat some ice-cream and relax before I need to put the kid into bed.
So here I am sitting in the living room eating ice-cream. Noah comes over and then runs into the kitchen. Now his run is so cute. He is so energetic and excited. He moves his whole body to get from one place to the next. So, he runs into the kitchen and opens up the dishwasher. We can hear him rummaging through the silverware and he runs back into the living room with a spatula and digs it into my ice-cream so he can have some.
How could a deny him. He worked so hard for it. So I let him eat. Tagalong comes over to see what Noah is eating, he loves ice-cream too. Noah didn’t mind sharing. But I didn’t like the way they shared. After taking a few more photos I put a stop to it. Anyway it is now time for bed.
